Redmi 7A, comes in a 5.45-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio (read: thick bezels from a couple of years ago) but it does get bright enough, has wide viewing angles and offers things like adjustable colour temperature, sunlight mode, night mode and reading mode. There’s also a (surprise) dark mode and the display itself is TÜV Rheinland certified for eye protection. It may be an entry-level phone but it gets a Sony IMX486 sensor with PDAF, LED flash and 1.25µm large pixels. There’s also a pro mode with adjustable white balance, focus, shutter speed and ISO. Video capture is supported in 1080p at 30fps with a time lapse mode built in.

It also gets a large battery (4,000mAh), P2i splash resistant coating, wireless FM radio with recording (no headset needed for FM use), dual SIM with dual active 4G networks on both slots (important if both are Jio SIMs), a dedicated memory expansion slot and MiUI 10 based on Android 9.0. The pixel density is a respectable 295 pixels per inch and it feels plenty sharp with images, text and video. Powered by a Snapdragon 439 octa core processor, it is capable of handling your basic daily  usage.
